Product Description
Splicing the ends of a piece of wire rope makes an endless sling. It is simple to handle and can be used in several different ways to lift loads. The endless sling is most commonly used as a choker hitch. When the endless sling is used as a choker, user passes it around the object forming a loop on top of the object. The other end is passed through this loop, pulled tight and attached to the cargo hook. To balance the load, user spread apart the two parts of the sling on the bottom of the object.
Double part endless slings are available in both ferule spliced and hand spliced.

Superior Flexibility and StrengthThe endless spliced construction provides outstanding flexibility and allows for easy adjustment of load contact points, reducing stress concentration. High-tensile carbon or alloy steel wires ensure both strength and durability, making these slings ideal for demanding tasks in various industries such as construction, marine, and heavy material handling.
Built for Safety and Standards ComplianceEach sling is manufactured according to IS 2762, BS 6668, and EN 13414 quality standards, ensuring reliability in rigorous applications. With a minimum safety factor of 5:1 and temperature resistance ranging from -40C to +200C, these wire rope slings guarantee secure performance in a range of operational conditions.
Customization to Suit Every NeedEndless Spliced Wire Rope Slings can be tailored in length and diameter to meet specific lifting requirements. Various wire gauges (8 mm-40 mm), finishes (bright, galvanized, or ungalvanized), and core types (fibre or steel core) are available, allowing for optimal selection based on usage scenario, load type, and environmental exposure.
FAQ's of Endless Spliced Wire Rope Sling:
Q: How are Endless Spliced Wire Rope Slings constructed?
A: These slings are made using a continuous wire rope loop that is mechanically or hand spliced, eliminating end fittings and providing uniform load distribution. The splicing process ensures high strength and reduced stress points for improved durability.
Q: What are the main advantages of using an endless spliced wire rope sling?
A: Endless spliced wire rope slings offer high flexibility, uniform wear, and extended service life since their load contact points can be rotated. The absence of hardware at the ends reduces potential weak points and makes them suitable for various rigging configurations.
Q: Where can these wire rope slings be used?
A: These slings are suited for lifting and material handling tasks in industries such as construction, marine, shipyards, manufacturing, and other heavy-duty environments. Their robust build and corrosion-resistant options enable use in both indoor and outdoor applications.
Q: What safety standards do these wire rope slings adhere to?
A: They are engineered to comply with IS 2762, BS 6668, and EN 13414 international standards, which specify strict guidelines for breaking load, construction, and performance. They also maintain a safety factor of 5:1 or higher for secure operation.
Q: What wire diameters and grades are available for these slings?
A: Endless spliced wire rope slings can be produced in wire diameters from 8 mm to 40 mm, and are available in grades such as 6x19, 6x37, 8x19, and 8x36 IWRC, providing a variety of strength and flexibility profiles to suit different lifting requirements.
Q: How do I select between fibre core (FC) and steel core (IWRC) options?
A: Fibre core (FC) slings provide greater flexibility and are lighter, making them suitable for applications where bend radius is important. Steel core (IWRC) slings offer higher strength and better resistance to crushing-ideal for heavy-duty and high-load scenarios.
Q: What is the process for customizing length or finish?
A: Manufacturers and suppliers in India provide customization options for length, wire diameter, and finish (bright, galvanized, or ungalvanized). Specifications can be shared during order placement to tailor the sling for specific application needs.
